Section 1a: Installing a countertop dispenser

1

This operation must only be carried out by trained staff.

2

Position the unit in the desired location, ideally against a wall and away from areas of egress. Allow 150mm (6") of clearance at the rear of the unit for ventilation.

3

Install the water block. Use the supplied key to set the water block pointer to "2". Do not leave it at setting 8. Failing to do so will invalidate the warranty for that unit.
Vertical orientation recommended, where possible

4

Fix the filter head in an accessible position. Ensure there is enough space below to install the filter.

5

Using 1/4 inch tubing, connect the outlet option of the filter head to the appliance using the push-fit connections.

6

Then connect the inlet option of the filter head to the mains water supply, through the water block. Use locking clips on each connection for security.

7

If you have a sparkling model, complete the CO2 installation section below before moving on to the next step.

8

Turn on the water supply.

9

Connect the unit to the electricity supply. Do not turn on any of the rear switches yet. You should hear the direct chill system filling up.

10

For sparkling models with CO2 connected, purge the air from the carbonator by pressing and holding the sparkling water dispense icon for 10 seconds. Then turn on the carbonation switch on the rear of the unit.

11

For hot water models we must commission the hot tank. Double press and hold the 'Hot' icon to start filling the hot tank. Continue filling until water flows from the outlet.

12

Press and hold the 'Chilled' icon until you see water dispensing from the outlet.

13

You can now turn on the hot switch and cold switch on the back of the dispenser. The chilling system and hot tank is now fully active.
Please note, CSH units may not have a cold switch.

14

Allow the dispenser to stand for approximately 1 hour for the initial chilling/heating process to complete.

15

Flush water through each dispense option by pressing the dispense icons until water is dispensed. Ensure everything functions correctly.

16

We recommend that the unit undergoes a sanitisation procedure prior to first use. You can follow the instructions below. Your unit is now ready for use.

Section 1b: Installing a floorstanding dispenser

1

This operation must only be carried out by trained staff.

2

3

Position the unit in the desired location, ideally against a wall and away from areas of egress. Allow 150mm (6") of clearance at the rear of the unit for ventilation.

4

Check the unit is level. Adjust the feet of the base cabinet if needed.

5

Fix the filter head in an accessible position inside the base cabinet using the pre-drilled holes. Ensure there is sufficient space below to install the filter. We recommend purging the filter cartridge to waste before fitting it to the filter head.

6

Using 1/4 inch tubing, connect the outlet option of the filter head to the appliance using the push-fit connections.

7

Install the water block. Use the supplied key to set the water block pointer to "2". Do not leave it at setting 8. Failing to do so will invalidate the warranty for that unit.
Vertical orientation recommended, where possible

8

Then connect the inlet option of the filter head to the mains water supply, through the water block. Use locking clips on each connection for security.

9

If a waste connection is required, replace the drip tray with the included waste drip tray with spigot. Ensure the spigot feeds through the grommet on the roof of the base cabinet. Install the drip tray by slotting it into the central channel and pushing it down into place.

10

If you have a waste container, place it within the base cabinet. Connect the drainage tubing into the top of the waste water container. If using mains waste, connect the drainage tubing directly to the waste outlet.

11

If you have a sparkling model, complete the CO2 installation section below before moving on to the next step.

12

Turn on the water supply.

13

Connect the unit to the electricity supply. Do not turn on any of the rear switches yet. You should hear the direct chill system filling up.

14

For sparkling models with CO2 connected, purge the air from the carbonator by pressing and holding the sparkling water dispense icon for 10 seconds. Then turn on the carbonation switch on the rear of the unit.

15

For hot water models we must commission the hot tank. Double press and hold the 'Hot' icon to start filling the hot tank. Continue filling until water flows from the outlet.

16

Press and hold the 'Chilled' icon until you see water dispensing from the outlet.

17

You can now turn on the hot switch and cold switch on the back of the dispenser. The chilling system and hot tank is now fully active.
Please note, CSH units may not have a cold switch.

18

Allow the dispenser to stand for approximately 1 hour for the initial chilling/heating process to complete.

19

Flush water through each dispense option by pressing the dispense icons until water is dispensed. Ensure everything functions correctly.

20

Care and maintenance of dispenser finish

The finishes are typically low-maintenance and retain their look with minimal effort. However regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure longevity and aesthetic appearance.

The appliance should have the lens cleaned once a week minimum using screen cleaner – ensure unit is off during cleaning.

For best results polish the dispenser with a soft, clean cloth as necessary, as soon as signs of dirt or smudging appear. Weekly cleaning with damp cloth using mild soap and water is recommended to maintain shine and remove fingerprints. Dry and polish with a soft cloth.

WARNING: Improper use of cleaners and sterilizers or exposure to strong chemicals can cause corrosion, staining and discolouration. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning agents that can damage the finish.

Please note that surface contamination and the surrounding environment can accelerate staining and discolouration e.g. marine environments where salt is present or places with high humidity.
