Where can I place my water dispenser or tap system?

3 Minuten Lesezeit

Your Borg & Overström water dispenser or tap system is designed to be used in many different industries and environments.
Your water dispenser must be kept in a location accordance with the safety notice in the product manuals and warranty document.

Below are some key considerations to keep in mind when checking if your space is suitable for a water dispenser or Tap System.

  • The appliance must be kept away from sunlight, heat and moisture.
  • Access to power and water less than 2m away.
  • Access to mains waste (optional for select products).
  • For tap systems, a minimum cupboard size of 500x500x500mm a maximum of 2m away from the tap location.
  • For dispensers, a minimum space of 320x515mm.
  • For tap systems, a worktop suitable for drilling. Check your installer is capable of installing into stone or granite if required.
  • Worktop thickness of 20 to 70mm.
  • The appliance must be installed in an environment free of dust and corrosive/explosive gases.
  • The appliance is not suitable for installation in an area where a water jet could be used.
  • The appliance must not be installed where it is liable to freeze.
  • Your base cabinet should have a plinth, this will allow ventilation to be installed.
  • The appliance should not be installed in high humidity environments such as swimming pools due to the impact this is likely to have on the internal components of the product.

It is recommended that the supplier for your water system does a site survey before installing the dispenser to ensure the environment is suitable for installation. If the unit is installed into a non-suitable location, you risk voiding your manufacturer's warranty, and risk damaging your water dispenser or tap system.
