C2/C3 Install & Operation Manual

This appliance can be used by adults and children aged 8 and above, as well as people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given instruction or supervision concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be conducted by children.

The appliance shall only be maintained and repaired by authorized technicians who are properly trained and certified. The appliance should be isolated from the electricity supply before removal of any covers. Great care must be employed when working with high pressure carbon dioxide, and in no cases should the maximum operating pressure of 0.4MPa (4 bar) be exceeded.

The appliance must be placed upright on a flat horizontal surface.
The appliance must be kept away from sunlight, heat and moisture.
The appliance shall not be placed in lobbies or locations of egress or where it may obstruct exit access.
The appliance must be installed in an environment free of dust and corrosive/explosive gases.
The appliance is not suitable for installation in an area where a water jet could be used.
The appliance must not be installed where it is liable to freeze. If the unit is thought to be frozen it must not be switched on.
The appliance must maintain adequate mechanical stability when in use, during transportation, assembly, dismantling, scrapping and any other action.
The appliance must not be installed without a waterblock. Installing without a waterblock will invalidate warranty.
The appliance must have adequate ventilation. Installing the unit without the Simple-fit Vent Kit will invalidate the warranty.

WARNING: Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure clear of obstruction.
WARNING: When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
WARNING: Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.
WARNING: Increased risk of a leak could occur through improper handling, movement or use.

The appliance must be installed in accordance with the relevant requirements of:

The appropriate building regulations by application of either The Building Regulations (England and Wales), The Building Regulations (Scotland) or The Building Regulations (Northern Ireland). In territories other than those listed the local regulations in force must be complied with.
The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or The Water Byelaws in Scotland.

This appliance is designed for dispensing drinking water in commercial and workplace environments, including:

Offices and corporate workplaces
Factories and industrial staff welfare areas
Hotels, hostels, and other hospitality environments
Public buildings such as schools, hospitals, and leisure facilities
Household environments and similar applications.

The appliance is suitable for providing chilled potable drinking water for employees, visitors, and guests.

The appliance is intended for indoor use only and must be installed and operated in accordance with the instructions provided in this manual.

Restrictions on Use

This appliance is not intended for heavy industrial use or continuous high-demand applications beyond its specified capacity.
It must only be used for dispensing potable (drinkable) water.
Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.

Prior to installing a C2/C3 tap and ProCore undercounter unit, ensure the following requirements are met:

Minimum cupboard size of 500mm x 500mm x 500mm
Circular tap cut out of 35mm (C2) or 50mm (C3).
Drip tray cut-out of 405 x 225mm. (optional) View cutting templates
Minimum clearance of 550mm.
Vent kit cut-out of 300 x 30mm (allow clearance of 45mm each side). View cutting templates
Worktop thickness of 20 to 70mm.
10A power supply within 1.8m of the unit.
Mains supply potable water within 2m of the unit.
Mains waste kit (included) or Bluetooth waste kit (optional).

Identify a suitable location for the ProCore® undercounter unit. It should be positioned within 1.0m of the tap, and within 2.0m of suitable services connections. Ensure to allow enough space for the Simple-fit Vent Kit which must be installed with the unit. See Pre-Installation guide here for full installation requirements before proceeding with installation.

We recommend using an installation kit, which includes everything needed to complete the installation.

The first step of your installation will depend on your tap system. If you have a C2 tap system, begin with Section 1a. If you have a C3 tap system, proceed directly to Section 1b.

C2 tap system

To start the installation of a C2 tap system, follow Section 1a.

C3 tap system

To start the installation of a C3 tap system, proceed directly to Section 1b.

The following section applies to C2 tap installation only. If you are installing a C3 tap, skip to Section 1b. This operation must only be carried out by trained staff.

Identify a suitable location for the tap. Ensure worktop is level to allow system to drain and that there are no obstructions below.

Ensure there is adequate cupboard space beneath the faucet location (500 × 500 mm) to install the ProCore unit. Allow clear access to service isolator fixings for both water and power, and leave sufficient space for the water filter, and CO₂ canister on sparkling models.

Allow 550mm for the height of the tap under any overhanging cupboard/shelf.

Place a piece of masking tape onto the edge of the worktop and mark the centre of the drip tray.

6

Position the cutting template provided the desired distance away from the edge of the work surface, and secure in place. Make sure the centre lines up with your mark on the masking tape.

7

Drill the four corner holes of the drip tray with a 10mm drill bit.

8

Drill a pilot hole for the tap using a 4mm drill bit.

9

Remove the template and clear any sawdust.

Using masking tape and a straight edge, mark out the guidelines between the four holes of the drip tray.

Using a jigsaw carefully cut out along the lines and remove the waste piece of work surface.

12

Use a 35 mm hole saw to drill the tap access hole.

13

Clean any sawdust and make sure the surface is left clean and dry.

14

Apply a thin bead of clear silicone to the underside edge of the drip tray.

Position the drip tray squarely into the cut out. Apply pressure, to ensure it is well bonded and clean away any excess silicone.

Place the waste spigot through the waste hole in the drip tray. Thread the nut onto the waste spigot underneath the driptray.

17

Depending on your waste option, either fit the waste cap or attach the waste pipe, connecting to the drain or Bluetooth alarmed waste kit.

Position the tap into the tap cut-out.

Tighten the back nut onto the tap thread underneath the countertop. Do not overtighten.

Thread each individual tap head onto the tap column. Take note of the order of the dispensing options.

Line up the vent flue chimney with the backplate. Then place over the slots and slide downwards into place.

Lower the ProCore® carefully into position on the ventilation base to ensure the rear vent duct is located correctly in Simple Fit vent Flue at the rear of the base.

Install the installation kit into the cupboard. Leave room for the filters to be changes when required.

Connect the filter to the mains water supply. Use locking clips on each connection for security.

Using the measuring jug, turn on the water supply and flush the filters to waste until it runs clear.

Using the 8mm push-fit fitting, connect the filter to the unit.

Using the black water pipes, slide on the provided black insulation and connect each pipe between the corresponding water outlet and C2 metal spigot.

Connect the unit to the electricity supply and switch on.

Sparkling models should have the carbonator purged of air by activating the sparkling water dispense for approximately 10 seconds.

Make sure the regulator is off by twisting the top knob anti-clockwise before attaching to the CO2 bottle. Do not overtwist.

Reinigen Sie die Tropfschale. Wenn ein Abfallüberlaufsystem installiert ist, leeren Sie dieses und spülen Sie es bei Bedarf mit einer kleinen Menge Desinfektionsmittel durch.

Wischen Sie bei Bedarf kosmetische Spuren ab. Dafür empfehlen wir die Verwendung von warmem Seifenwasser.

Schließen Sie die Stromversorgung wieder an und schalten Sie den Spender ein.

Wenn die Außenreinigung abgeschlossen ist, spülen Sie 10L (ca. 4 1/4 US-Quart) Wasser durch jede Ausgabemöglichkeit (Gekühlt, sprudlnde, Raumtemperatur).

Schalten Sie das Wasser ab und drücken Sie kurz die Taste für gekühltes Wasser, um den internen Wasserdruck aus der Maschine zu entlassen.

Entfernen Sie den Servicefilter. Servicefilter zur Wiederverwendung beibehalten.

Neuen Filter einsetzen und die Zufuhr des einlaufenden Wassers einschalten.

Spülen Sie den neuen Filter zunächst mit der Taste „Kalt“ in den Abfluss, bis etwa 5 Liter (ca. 2 US-Pints) Wasser durchgelaufen sind. Wiederholen Sie dies für alle Ausgabemöglichkeiten. Ihr Spender ist jetzt einsatzbereit.

The finishes are typically low-maintenance and retain their look with minimal effort. However regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure longevity and aesthetic appearance.

For best results polish the dispenser with a soft cloth as necessary, as soon as signs of dirt or smudging appear. Weekly cleaning with damp cloth using mild soap and water is recommended to maintain shine and remove fingerprints. Dry and polish with a soft cloth.

WARNING: Improper use of cleaners and sterilizers or exposure to strong chemicals can cause corrosion, staining and discolouration. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning agents that can damage the finish.

Please note that surface contamination and the surrounding environment can accelerate staining and discolouration e.g. marine environments where salt is present or places with high humidity.

Certain features can be adjusted by a trained installer as part of the product set up.

Each dispense option has a flow controller to the right of the dispense lever. To increase the dispense flow rate, turn the flow controller anti-clockwise.

To reduce the water flow rate, turn the flow controller clockwise.

Schlechte Kohlensäurequalität

Falscher CO2-Druck

Überprüfen Sie die CO2-Flasche, den Druckregler und das Rückschlagventil. Der Versorgungsdruck sollte 58 psi (4 bar) betragen, bei Bedarf ersetzen.

Luft im Karbonatortank

Reinigen Sie den Karbonatortank. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen unten.

Rückstände im Karbonisatorbehälter

Nach längerem Gebrauch kann sich im Karbonisatorbehälter ein Oberflächenfilm bilden. Beachten Sie die Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsanweisungen.

Getränke nicht gekühlt

Unzureichender Kühlungsluftstrom um den ProCore®

Überprüfen Sie, ob der Kondensator nicht blockiert ist. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Kühlventilatoren laufen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Belüftungsanforderungen erfüllt sind.

Kompressor läuft nicht

Überprüfen Sie die Stromversorgung des Kompressors (Netzspannung).
Überprüfen Sie, ob die NTC-Sonde nicht defekt ist.
Überprüfen Sie, ob der DryBlock-NTC an beiden Enden angeschlossen ist.
Überprüfen Sie auf Überhitzung des Systems. Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen und prüfen Sie auf Luftstrombehinderungen. Sobald das Gerät abgekühlt ist, startet das Kühlsystem neu. Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, wenden Sie sich an den technischen Support.

Kühlaggregatausfall

Wenn der Kompressor und der Lüfter laufen, aber keine Kühlung erfolgt, wenden Sie sich an den technischen Support.

Pull and hold the sparkling water dispense lever until all the water is expelled and only CO2 gas is being released.

The tank is empty of sparkling water when only CO2 is being released and no water is emitted.

Ensure to release the Sparkling water lever and take care to avoid releasing excess amounts of CO2 gas as this may damage the tank.
