Ventilation is essential for the proper function of any tap or dispenser. Keeping cool air flow and expelling warm air prevents the unit from overheating and facilitates the efficient chilling of the water. Traditionally, to aid ventilation, large silver grilles and cut outs are installed in the front of a cupboard or kickboard. Ventilation grilles significantly reduce the aesthetic appeal of the area. At Borg & Overström we believe that any drinking water tap should enhance the breakout space, not take away from the quality of the design and materials.
How does the discreet ventilation work?
Our SimpleFit Vent Kits sit beneath the ProCore® unit on our
T-series tap systems and are designed to manage airflow efficiently within the cabinet. The air flow is expelled through a small recess at the bottom edge of the cupboard, allowing for the cupboard door to be closed as normal. No additional grilles are required on the front of the cupboard or kickboard.

The SimpleFit Vent Kit is designed to fit onto our ProCore® undercounter unit. As one complete base and simple dop in attachment, it is a single step installation, with no fiddly, additional ventilation parts. Requiring only a small cut out in the cupboard base, installation time an requirements are kept to a minimum.
