Sterizen sanitisation ensures you can enjoy complete confidence in the cleanliness of your water from the first glass. The quality of our dispensed water is paramount. This is why every Borg & Overström dispenser undergoes a comprehensive sanitisation process before being packed and shipped to you.

What is Sterizen?

Sterizen® is a complete sanitisation process that all our water dispensers undertake before being securely packed and delivered to you. The independently certified sanitisation fluid is flushed through each unit, sanitising all internal water pathways.

The Sterizen Process

Comprehensive internal sanitisation
All wetted surfaces are flushed at pressure with antimicrobial sanitisation fluid to reduce any bacteria present.
Laboratory certified
Sterizen® sanitising fluid is laboratory certified to reduce bacteria by 99.999%.
Carefully dried and packaged
Clean air is then blown through the system to fully dry the water pathway before packing, ensuring no water becomes dormant.

Why is it needed?

Although every effort is made to maintain a clean production environment and keep components free from contamination, there remains a possibility that dust, bacteria, or stagnant water may enter the water pathway during assembly.

Without proper sanitisation at installation, this could pose a risk to water hygiene within the dispenser.
