Designed and delivered by Woodalls, the 60,000 sq ft workplace spans three floors and was conceived around the experience of rail travel, with spaces designed to support collaboration, focused work, learning and social interaction. The project has since received Silver at the 2026 London Design Awards in the Commercial Interior Design category.

Trainline’s new headquarters was designed to reflect the company’s evolution as a technology business while supporting hybrid working and future growth. Woodalls created a workplace with a strong sense of identity. The design takes inspiration from railway tunnels, stations and carriages, while the café acts as a social heart of the office, incorporating more than 170 seats across dining and social zones.
Wellness is a strong part of Trainline's proposition for their staff. Easy access to clean filtered water, whether it be chilled, sparkling, room temperature or boiling water, is essential in a modern workplace. The compact SimpleFit ventilation system allows ventilation to be featured discreetly within the cupboard rather than requiring an obvious external grille, delivering a seamless tap system install.
For Trainline the feel of the space and design integrity matters. The headquarters is deliberately experiential. Its railway-inspired aesthetic depends on continuity between architecture, materials and the smaller details within the space. The T3 provides a premium hydration point without undermining that design language. In other words, the product performs without asking the interior to compromise.
Sustainability is built into the proposition.
This is perhaps where the T3 becomes particularly relevant to Trainline.
Trainline environmental strategy includes “improving energy efficiency in our workplaces” and “moving to offices designed around sustainability”. Its own purpose statement goes further, explaining that the company's Green Team works to reduce the carbon impact of its office spaces, including:
