Watch the video to learn how to replace the baseplate on a T2, T3, T2 MonoFit® or T3 MonoFit® tap system.
Please note: If your tap system was manufactured before April 2026, you may also need to upgrade the ProCore® firmware after the baseplate replacement is complete. You will not need to upgrade the firmware on the tap itself.
Watch the video below to learn how to upgrade your firmware:
How to upgrade Firmware on T2 or T3
Step-by-step instructions for replacing your base plate:
Step 1: Firstly. Turn off the unit. Disconnect the piping from the ProCore® to the tap. Disconnect the USB connection.
Step 2: Using a spanner remove the nuts from the fixing plate underneath. If your tap has an earth connection, remove that too. The tap should now be free to lift out.
Step 3: Once lifted out, loosen the two grubscrews that secure the tap faucet to the baseplate. Remove the tap faucet pulling through all piping.
Step 4: You can now take your new baseplate, and insert the tap faucet.
Step 5: Secure the tap with the two grub screws. Tighten with an Allen key, until the tap is secure.
Step 6: Screw in the threaded inserts into the baseplate. Standard tap systems will have 4. MonoFit® variants have 2.
Step 7: Place the assembled tap back into the worktop.
Step 8: Secure the tap down by inserting the fixing plate over the threaded inserts underneath and securing with a nut. For the second nut, sandwich the earth cable eyelet plus it's washer in-between the fixing plate and the nut. Ensure the other end of the earth cable is secured between a rear panel screw and the rear panel.
Step 9: Connect the tap's piping to the ProCore®. Ensure insulation is retained over the piping as it was previously. Connect the USB.
Step 10: Connect the new wastepipe to the spigot and connect to either your mains waste or your Bluetooth waste module.
Step 11: Power on the tap and test all dispense options.
Step 12: Upgrade the firmware on the ProCore® only if required
