Description

In some instances, it may be necessary to insert an uprated fuse into the recently distributed E4 Compressor Control Board. The standard 2amp fuse is suitable for regular use and has passed all necessary safety and regulatory tests, even in accelerated wear conditions. However, in rare cases where external factors such as:

  • Regulated power supplies
  • Unusually heavy use or tough environments (e.g., dusty factories or high-temperature areas)
  • High incoming water temperatures
  • Circuits prone to power surges
  • At present, we recommend using a 3.15A slow-blow fuse in the Compressor Control Board.

If the 2amp fuse does fail, the unit will continue to dispense ambient and hot water safely with absolutely no risk to the user. There is no need to replace all the fuses in all units as in most cases the 2amp fuse will be perfectly adequate. Only where necessary, simply insert a 3.15A slow-blow fuse, which we are providing free of charge (FOC), as needed.
